Ronny has been a part of the offshore industry since 1997, mainly on anchor handler vessels, and have worked the grades from 2nd Mate advancing to Master Mariner in 2000.

Ronny has been part of a variety of assignments with the vessels he has been serving on, and carry excessive international experience from i.e., Brazil, Nigeria, USA and Mediterranean amongst others.

Capt. Ronny is very experienced in deep water and ULTRA deep water Anchor handling and mooring operations ranging from 1000m+ and 2000m+

Time as Master Mariner

Commanded the AHTS Havila Charisma, Havila Crown, and other anchor-handlers, on mainly North Sea rig-moves, projects and anchor-handling campaigns

2007

Marine Consultant at Semar

Joined Semar AS as Marine Consultant and Master Mariner, steering global mooring projects and tow campaigns with Equinor, Aker BP, Sevan, DOF Subsea among others. Held several positions as OCM, Client representative, Towmaster amongst others.

2018

Established Iversen Marine

Embarked as a self employed freelance contractor.

During a slow period in the industry. Relying on extensive network and an impressive track record, the company immediately secured critical contracts and maintained a strong market presence.
